Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD34C-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ANKRD34C-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ANKRD34C-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD34C-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and BLCA are the cancer types where ANKRD34C-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
