Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD33B-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ANKRD33B-AS1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ANKRD33B-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD33B-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and LAML show a favorable association.
LIHC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ANKRD33B-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
