Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD29 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD29 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ANKRD29 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD29 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where ANKRD29 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
