Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD22 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD22 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ANKRD22 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and PDAC show a favorable association.

UCEC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where ANKRD22 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
