Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD20A2P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ANKRD20A2P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where ANKRD20A2P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ANKRD20A2P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
BRCA, THCA, and COAD are the cancer types where ANKRD20A2P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
