ANKRD18CP

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD18CP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ANKRD18CP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where ANKRD18CP RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ANKRD18CP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRP, THCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where ANKRD18CP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
