Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD17 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ANKRD17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ANKRD17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
