Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKRD16 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ANKRD16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKRD16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where ANKRD16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
