Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKH Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKH data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ANKH Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, KIRP, and UCEC are the cancer types where ANKH Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
