Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKEF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANKEF1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher ANKEF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANKEF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where ANKEF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
