Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANK1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANK1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ANK1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANK1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

STAD, ESCA, and ACC are the cancer types where ANK1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
