Across TCGA patient cohorts, ANK1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,322 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ANK1-associated genes across cancer lineages are HBA2, HBA1, and HBB. Each is linked with ANK1 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ANK1-to-partner and partner-to-ANK1 results are reported.
