Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANGPTL7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANGPTL7 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ANGPTL7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANGPTL7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where ANGPTL7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
