Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANGPTL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANGPTL3 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ANGPTL3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANGPTL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, KIRC, and SKCM are the cancer types where ANGPTL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
