Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANGPT2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANGPT2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ANGPT2 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANGPT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, THCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where ANGPT2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
