Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANGPT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANGPT1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher ANGPT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANGPT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
ESCA, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where ANGPT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
