Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANGEL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANGEL2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ANGEL2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANGEL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRC, and PRAD are the cancer types where ANGEL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
