Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ANG data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ANG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ANG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where ANG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
