AMY2A

RNA — tumor vs normal
Tumor vs NormalRNABox plot · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AMY2A RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 2 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of AMY2A’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where AMY2A RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types AMY2A is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as UCEC and BLCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

UCEC and BLCA are the cancer types where AMY2A tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.

RNA tumor vs normal associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. Fold-change is the tumor-versus-normal difference in AMY2A RNA (log2); positive values indicate higher expression in tumor. p-values are from the differential-expression test.
