Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AMY1C RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AMY1C data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher AMY1C RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AMY1C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and OV show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCS, and KIRC are the cancer types where AMY1C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
