Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AMELX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AMELX data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher AMELX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AMELX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, LGG, and SKCM are the cancer types where AMELX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
