Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALYREF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALYREF data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ALYREF Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALYREF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, ESCA, and SARC are the cancer types where ALYREF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
