Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALPL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALPL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ALPL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALPL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LUAD, KICH, and STAD are the cancer types where ALPL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
