Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALG5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALG5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ALG5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALG5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, HNSC, and LGG are the cancer types where ALG5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
