Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALG2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALG2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher ALG2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, OV, and UCEC are the cancer types where ALG2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
