ALG1L8P

associated omics data
ALG1 like 8, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored ALG1L8P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. ALG1L8P expression is associated with patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in UVM. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, ALG1L8P is differentially expressed in 10, with the highest sampling consensus in KIRP. Additionally, ALG1L8P RNA expression shows 13,529 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in TGCT. Together, these results highlight UVM, KIRP, and TGCT as cancer lineages where ALG1L8P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes ALG1L8P survival associations across molecular data types. ALG1L8P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (23). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible ALG1L8P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High ALG1L8P expression shows unfavorable associations in KIRP and KIRC, but favorable associations in UVM, LGG, OV and BRCA. The UVM Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the low-expression group declining faster, consistent with the favorable association (log-rank p < 0.001). Together, the overview and detailed table identify UVM as the clearest survival context for ALG1L8P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for ALG1L8P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. ALG1L8P shows lower tumor expression in KICH and THCA and higher tumor expression in KIRP, LUAD, LUSC and STAD. The KIRP box plot shows higher ALG1L8P RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +0.606, t-test p = .002).
