Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALDOC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALDOC data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher ALDOC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALDOC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRP, SCLC, and PRAD are the cancer types where ALDOC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
