Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALDH6A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALDH6A1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ALDH6A1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALDH6A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ALDH6A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
