Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALDH3A2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALDH3A2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ALDH3A2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALDH3A2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where ALDH3A2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
