Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALDH1A3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALDH1A3 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ALDH1A3 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALDH1A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and GBM are the cancer types where ALDH1A3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
