ALAS2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, ALAS2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,863 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALAS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR588, CDKN2AIPNLP2, and KIR3DL1. Each is linked with ALAS2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALAS2-to-partner and partner-to-ALAS2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR588 grouped by ALAS2-low versus ALAS2-high in READ.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (ALAS2→partner) and Y-score (partner→ALAS2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
