ALAS2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, ALAS2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 30 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALAS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, EGFR_pY1068, and eIF4E. Each is linked with ALAS2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALAS2-to-partner and partner-to-ALAS2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, 14-3-3_beta grouped by ALAS2-low versus ALAS2-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (ALAS2→partner) and Y-score (partner→ALAS2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
