Across TCGA cell cohorts, ALAS2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,827 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALAS2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Mitochondrial proton-transporting ATP synthase complex assembly, Proton-transporting ATP synthase complex assembly, and Negative regulation of translation. Each is linked with ALAS2 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALAS2-to-partner and partner-to-ALAS2 results are reported.
