ALAS2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, ALAS2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 27 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALAS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYL10, IFITM5, and GRIFIN. Each is linked with ALAS2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALAS2-to-partner and partner-to-ALAS2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MYL10 grouped by ALAS2-low versus ALAS2-high in BREAST.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (ALAS2→partner) and Y-score (partner→ALAS2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
