Across TCGA patient cohorts, ALAS1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 8,480 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALAS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are DNAH7, OBSCN, and AHNAK. Each is linked with ALAS1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALAS1-to-partner and partner-to-ALAS1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, DNAH7 grouped by ALAS1-low versus ALAS1-high in COAD.
