ALAS1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, ALAS1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,991 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALAS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are HNRNPMP2, RNU6-84P, and ZNF385A. Each is linked with ALAS1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALAS1-to-partner and partner-to-ALAS1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, HNRNPMP2 grouped by ALAS1-low versus ALAS1-high in CESC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (ALAS1→partner) and Y-score (partner→ALAS1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
