ALAS1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, ALAS1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 276 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALAS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CYP11B1, RTP3, and PRAMEF10. Each is linked with ALAS1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALAS1-to-partner and partner-to-ALAS1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, CYP11B1 grouped by ALAS1-low versus ALAS1-high in LUNG_SCLC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (ALAS1→partner) and Y-score (partner→ALAS1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
