Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKT2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AKT2 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher AKT2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and UCS show a favorable association.
ACC, BRCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where AKT2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
