Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKT2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKT2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher AKT2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where AKT2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
