AKR1E2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKR1E2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,373 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AKR1E2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RPL26P29, SCGB1D5P, and MTCO3P38. Each is linked with AKR1E2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKR1E2-to-partner and partner-to-AKR1E2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RPL26P29 grouped by AKR1E2-low versus AKR1E2-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (AKR1E2→partner) and Y-score (partner→AKR1E2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
