Across TCGA cell cohorts, AKR1C4 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible AKR1C4-associated genes across cancer lineages are SMIM23, GAGE12D, and GAGE12C. Each is linked with AKR1C4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKR1C4-to-partner and partner-to-AKR1C4 results are reported.
