Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKR1B1P3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AKR1B1P3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher AKR1B1P3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKR1B1P3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and UCS show a favorable association.

KIRC, MESO, and STAD are the cancer types where AKR1B1P3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
