AKR1B15

Mutation & survival
SurvivalMutationKaplan–Meier · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKR1B15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKR1B15 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher AKR1B15 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKR1B15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

DLBC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where AKR1B15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Mutation survival associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
