Across TCGA patient cohorts, AKR1A1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible AKR1A1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PREX1, p62 Lck ligand, and Rad50. Each is linked with AKR1A1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AKR1A1-to-partner and partner-to-AKR1A1 results are reported.
