Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AKAP6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AKAP6 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher AKAP6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AKAP6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
THYM, UCEC, and KIRC are the cancer types where AKAP6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
