Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AK5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AK5 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher AK5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AK5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and COAD show a favorable association.

UVM, STAD, and SARC are the cancer types where AK5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
