Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AJAP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AJAP1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher AJAP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AJAP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, ESCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where AJAP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
