Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AIF1L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated AIF1L data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher AIF1L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AIF1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA are the cancer types where AIF1L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
