Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AHNAK2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated AHNAK2 data layer compared with 14 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher AHNAK2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated AHNAK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SARC and ESCA show a favorable association.
UVM, MESO, and BLCA are the cancer types where AHNAK2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
