Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, AHCYP7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of AHCYP7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where AHCYP7 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types AHCYP7 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, KIRC, and LUAD are the cancer types where AHCYP7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
